CQC: Criminal Records Bureau checks

CRB checks provide important protection for people who use social care services. You are required by law to get checks from the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) if you are:

For providers or managers registering in respect of social care services the name and number of the registered body is:

  • CQC (Social care) - number 23244300003.

Healthcare

For providers or managers applying to register in respect of healthcare services the name and number of the registered body are:

  • CQC (Healthcare) - number 21181200008
